Privacy
This is a static site. It runs Google Analytics to measure traffic and no other third-party tracker.
What we collect
This website itself collects nothing beyond Google Analytics, described below. There are no advertising pixels, no embedded third-party fonts and no social widgets.
Pages are static files served over HTTPS.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and traffic sources. It sets a cookie and collects standard analytics data such as your approximate location (city-level, from IP address), device and browser type, and which pages you visit on this site. We do not use this data to identify you individually, and we do not combine it with any other data we hold. It is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours. A standard browser ad blocker or tracking-protection setting will block it.
Server logs
Our hosting provider processes standard request logs, including IP address, user agent and requested path, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine these logs with any other data or use them to build profiles.
Third-party embeds
A small number of award pages embed a Google Maps location so a visitor can see where the winning business operates. That embed is served directly from Google, and Google may set its own cookies inside it, governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours.
We do not add any tracking of our own around it, and no other page on the site carries any third-party embed.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to keep a record of corrections and withdrawal requests.
Business information
Information published about award winners is drawn from public records and public sources. To request correction or removal, see contact.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email protected].
